This costume posed many challenges, mostly construction wise in figuring out how to make everything work together.

The costume is mostly fleece, which I found most appropriate for basically being a giant plush cat. Theres also tons of stuffing, interfacing, and some foamie adding to the structure of the outfit. The front "zipper" is also functional - you can pull the giant zipper pull al lthe way down and separate the coat, showing what she wears underneath.

Most people ask about the head...Its basically a zentai hood I whipped up with some spare black spandex and has a zipper in the back. The eyes are leds inside red resin cast gems and yes...I can see just fine through the hood :) The mouths are completely interchangeable - they totally make the emotion in the face!

The claws are wood mounted together on a bar I hold inside so I can move them a little. They are also fully removable.
