Based off Kotobukiya's new Phoenix figure, I loved the metallic paint they used and decided to try out metallic spandex for the first time. While it looks fantastic in photos, its unfortunately quite a delicate fabric, and only from one wear it already has some dings and scratches. It also wears off in areas like the tips of your fingers quite quickly.

Other than that, the material is great to work with and will make for some excellent photos in its short life, especially in bright light, which turned out even better for Phoenix.

A lot of people ask about the boot covers. The costume is totally one piece, except for the gloves which I made separate just for convenience. I had some boots I cut down to the actual shoe/heel part, then sewed the covers to fit specially around them. They are removable to use for any other costumes.
